2. Use of personal data 

When visiting our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website (server location is Germany). This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is collected without your intervention and stored until automated deletion

  • IP address of the requesting computer,
  • date and time of access,
  • name and URL of the retrieved file,
  • website from which access is made,
  • the browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your computer as well as the name of your access provider.

The data mentioned are processed by us or our access provider for the following purposes:

  • ensuring a smooth connection to the website,
  • ensuring comfortable use of our website,
  • evaluation of system security and stability.

The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest follows from the data collection purposes listed above. In no case, we use the collected data for the purpose of drawing conclusions about your person.

3. Data transfer

A transfer of your personal data to third parties for purposes other than those listed below does not take place. We only share your personal information with third parties if:

  • such transfer is necessary, pursuant to Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR, for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims and there is no reason to assume that you have an overriding legitimate interest in your data not being transferred,
  • there is a legal obligation to transfer such data, pursuant to Article 6 (1)(c) GDPR, or
  • it is permitted by law and required under Art. 6 (1)(b) GDPR for the execution of contractual relationships with you.

4. Cookies

We use cookies on our website. These are small files that your browser automatically creates and that are stored on your device (laptop, tablet, smartphone, etc.) when visiting our website. Cookies do not damage your device, and do not contain viruses, Trojans or other malicious software. In a cookie information is stored, each arising in connection with the specific device used. However, this does not mean that we are thus immediately aware of your identity.

The use of cookies aids to make the use of our offer more pleasant. Where appropriate, we use so-called session cookies to recognize that you have already visited individual pages on our website. These cookies are automatically deleted after leaving our webpage.

In addition, we may use – also to improve usability – temporary cookies that are stored on your device for a specified period of time. 5. Rights of affected party

You have the right:

  • pursuant to Article 15 GDPR to request information concerning your personal data processed by us. In particular, you can request information about the purposes of the processing, the category of personal data, the categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, the envisaged duration of storage, the existence of a right to rectification, deletion or restriction of processing of personal data or for objection to such processing, the existence of a right to appeal, the source of your data, where they are not collected by us, and about the existence of automated decision-making, including profiling, and, where appropriate, relevant information on details thereof;
  • pursuant to Article 16 GDPR to immediately request the rectification of incorrect or the completion of your personal data stored by us;
  • pursuant to Article 17 GDPR to request the deletion of your personal data stored by us, unless the processing is required for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information, for fulfilling a legal obligation, for reasons of public interest or for the enforcement, exercise or defense of legal claims;
  • pursuant to Article 18 GDPR to request restriction of processing of your personal data, if the accuracy of the data is contested by you, the processing is unlawful but you reject the deletion, and we no longer need the data, but you require them for the enforcement, exercise or defense of legal claims, or you have objected to the processing in accordance with Article 21 GDPR;
  • pursuant to Article 20 GDPR to receive, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, your personal data which you have provided to us, or to request that said data be transmitted to another responsible person;
  • pursuant to Article 7 (3) GDPR to revoke at any time your consent granted to us. As a result, we are no longer permitted to continue the data processing that was based on that consent; and
  • pursuant to Article 77 GDPR to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. To do so, you can contact the supervisory authority being competent for your place of residence or place of work or for the place of our law firm.

6. Right of objection

If your personal data are processed on the basis of legitimate interest pursuant to Article 6 (1)(f) GDPR, you have the right, in accordance with Article 21 GDPR, to object to the processing of your personal data provided that there are grounds arising from your particular situation.

7. Data protection

We use appropriate technical and organizational security measures in order to protect your personal data against accidental or intentional manipulation, partial or complete loss, destruction or against unauthorized access by third parties.

We use the SSL (Secure Socket Layer) method in conjunction with the highest encryption level supported by your browser during the visit to our website. Typically, this is a 256-bit encryption. Whether a single page of our website is transmitted in encrypted form is indicated by the closed representation of the key or lock symbol in your browser line.
